Same here, it's going to be very hot today and there is a huge cloud of smoke that has drifted over the hills already, probably from the mainland ...

Morning all.

Haven't been in for a while.

Not much to report just trying to keep out of the heat.

Fires to the north of me, three very big grass fires merged and burnt through about 12000 hectares. Under control now, no loss of life, but homes, and farm equip etc lost. Sheep also. 😞

Heading out to visit Mum and FIL ( he was in an evacuate area) and will have to drive through the aftermath of the fires. 

Will also visit cemetery where Dad is to make sure everything is ok.  This is a pic of the fire going through behind the cemetery sunday evening.

Katy, how scary is that picture ...  , stay safe.  The twin cyclones still hanging around north western Australia, have never quite seen anything like that, it's kind of joined up, really battering the place and not dissipating, very strange.

Tas it has been warm here but not as warm as you guys have it, we did have a day off 29/30.

Just nice today 24.

Lilli off to the Vets in half an hour, Hope I can find her LOL

Hawk the cable from the computer to screen stuffed up, dont know how, this computer has had a easy life, 2/3 of my screen was like striped wall paper.

Katy I am glad you and your family are safe, hate those awful fires
