I've got a variety of manual grinders..use them for everything from grinding coriander to all colours of peppercorns, white, green, black...nothing like fresh ground, and battery operated won't last....I've even got a marble grinder....and an old coffee grinder...luvs her coffee...real coffee that is....black gold...texas tea.....

we had rump, spuds onion, eggs and toasted bread all cooked on the barbie by yours truly, for some reason the meat always seems better cooked on a hot plate.

i love roasts cooked in the oven from a wood stove nothing like it, i would have a wood stove in this house but the kitchen isn't quite large enough
the is how i learnt to cook on a wood stove.

everything tastes so much better on a wood stove i even mastered cooking profiteroles in them.
even cooking toast on the coals was nice, i miss that.

If you like the cold and mountains south island, if you like beaches and stunning native forest North island.
