Let's have a survival story for a change:
Ten days ago, Kathleen Watson thought she'd spoken to her husband Ken for the final time.
The 70-year-old grandfather had lost consciousness and was struggling to breathe – placed in a coma as coronavirus ravaged his body.
He had been without medical care for 12 hours while quarantined in a Perth hotel.
"But today he's got his strong voice back and it was absolutely – it's a miracle," Mrs Watson told 9News.
He will have to return multiple negative test results before he's released into self-isolation with Mrs Watson, who has formed antibodies against the killer virus.

Well...you know...a lot of young women like to get a Braziian!

Well...I think, having had exposure to it, and not falling ill with it means you can build immunity to it.
Without falling ill to it yourself.
As has been proven in this case.
Very true, now you have got it right. But the original comment was, "she has formed antibodies without actually having had it!". And you agreed with that. She actually did have covid 19.

She did indeed test positive with the virus but had mild symptoms that she described as 'lethargy' and that is the only way/reason she had antibodies to it.
In some patients, the symptoms are just like a mild cold, while in others it is like influenza. In the worst case scenario, it causes shocking respiratory distress, the virus overloads the lungs (and other organs) which can lead to death relatively quickly if the body's immunity cannot cope.

its not unlike the little old lady turning 100 who has smoked her whole life and drunk a whiskey a day.
an exception to the rule.

David, the lady was diagnosed with the virus but was able to overcome it with her own body defences like many others have. It's random and it affects people differently.

That's true. Because we're not actually exposed to it. So we can't build antibodies.

You would find it so.
