we do need them in Brisbane but it is on our car rego? you can still choose your provider as far as I am aware.

The new cost represents a 10 per cent increase on the green slip price of about $500.

And the rest!!!

I wish I could get a green slip for $500 for our 1 ton van (Business registration).  It has been $700+ for some years now.  The last increase was in the vicinity of $150 in one go.

Yes, it can be claimed as a business expense but we still have to pay it in the first place.
