Greens Labor ordered to take down posters

The three NSW electricity providers have advised that any election posters placed on electricity poles by state election candidates are illegal.

Furthermore, the electricity providers have advised that they will remove any unauthorised election posters and will bill the political party which had put them up there.

Whilst all Liberal candidates have been asked to ensure that none of their election posters are placed on any electricity poles – we have been made aware of a number of occurrences where Labor and Greens candidates have simply ignored the ban.

If you see any unauthorised Labor, Green or union election posters up on an electricity pole, please report it to us as soon as possible. Please email polewatch@nsw.liberal.org.au with date, time and location details (including closest intersection details), as well as a photo if possible, and we will report the breach to the relevant authorities.

Not only are we subjected to outright lies by Union ads we are now subjected to the most outrageous lies in a phone poll I have ever done.

Pretty funny though wasn't it 😄  Although as Glee said, it was copycat, not just copyright.

It's what you call thread drift I believe Vic.  Most forums allow a bit of thread drift.

Anyway, like I said.

Mike Baird had his youtube video taken down due to copyright infringement.

The other consideration is that it was a political campaign message.  That's a separate copyright issue than the standard usage on youtube videos.

No it was off topic and designed to distract.

Re: Greens Labor ordered to take down posters

So where do I report the fact that our local Liberal candidate has nailed his ugly face to telegraph poles throughout our local shopping village and opposite the railway station?

(Seriously, what a ridiculous thread. As if Labor and Greens are the only culprits. And what the heck has this to even do with the unions?? Talk about paranoid Liberals using any means they can regardless of how stupid it makes them look in order to smear the opposition in a lead up to an election.)

The "your rights at work" posters, there's still some on poles and that was in 2007.

Frankly the lies the unions are spreading like "privatisation of public  hospitals"  "Tafe" and all "electricty providers"?

Complete and utter lies.

Lies? So you haven't been following the NSW election campaign then and seen what Baird is proposing?

Is the article below a lie:

And a reminder to how the Qld government ended up with these 'lies'...

Try and have a pleasant day, won't you

Push the report button and leave...a left thing is it? Your'e the one who started with the overalls slur of Lib women.

Um no.

In response to Debras comments about the Liberal candidate removing Labor posters in her electorate, Vic suggested in post 20 that anyone can put up or take down anything from poles if they are wearing overalls. Debra rightly pointed out that this woman was not wearing overalls. (Actually she was wearing a skirt and high heels in the footage I saw).

So how is this sexist and how is it that Debras posts are an issue?

You should stick to the facts idelwhite and try not to read things between the lines (or IN the lines) that are simply not there.
