I'll point it out once again...........cars, busses, and trucks are a means of transportation...........guns' only function is to propel a lead slug at a target, be it human, animal, or an inanimate object.

no use for guns huh?, they are useless for hunting, no good for self defense i suppose, not an insurance policy against a police state tyranny by any means, and gee wizz if things are useless we should just outlaw them, no more earings, gold, silver and diamonds used in the production of jewery, decorations, orniments, serve no practical purpose, ban it all. 70 percent of the human population isn't needed to run the world, exterminate them, those left will have to justify all they have as something they need and use everyday.

well if thats not the point your trying to make, then what point are you trying to make? because a gun propels an object, it should be banned?, or regulated?, what? background checks for a tool that propels an object, seems silly to me. From what I understand, it's seldom that a person gets killed or dies when they do get shot, more times than not, a gunshot victim actually lives.

As for myself, being banned from legally owning a gun, seems to me like the Franklin county sheriffs, and the court judge who by default sided with those corrupt and sadistic sheriffs have made that determination. They aren't qualified to decide that near as much as those regular posters here who see and read my postings every day. In truth, i have owned guns, for years, i took that responsability seriously, there was no one, or at least very few who were/are as carefull as i when it came to shooting, cleaning, carrying, or locking them up for safe keeping. I will admit that for me, it wasn't for self defence, i doubt i could ever use a gun on another human, for me, it was a hobby to collect them, and a way to exersize and endorse freedom and the right (2A) There was probibly more than 5k worth of guns, and 5 times that in value of other personal items, and a house worth 75k,  taken from me in the raid on November 15th, 2013. no convictions, So whos the criminals here?, the sheriffs, or me?,  whos the ones allowed to walk around with guns? both questions have the same answer. The police. So ban them, not me from gun ownership..

all gun control does, and is doing via my example, is take guns out of the hands of good people, and leave them in the hands of bad people. Your right about one thing, people can come and steal your guns from your home, and your home as well, those people wear a badge and you call them the police, and call them often..

Let's talk about Gun Control. There are those who believe that the government should have the monopoly on violence; that the government should be the only one armed, and that we should trust the government to defend and protect us.

There's just one little tiny problem with that... The gang of armed men doing the killing and kidnapping usually IS the government.

Police, Sheriffs, and Highway Patrol rape, beat, molest, assault, abuse, and lie to get away with it more than any known street gang, more than the bloods, crips, ect. they are sadistic and corrupt by design. Meaning, they are hand picked and trained in such a manor. I've heard arguments of those who claim a friend or relitive who is a cop, and that they know them to be a good person. My answer to that is they don't know them as well as they believe, or someone with morrals slipped through the cracks, will be discovered and rooted out. Look up "Regina Taska" to see what i mean.

I've heard the voting argument as well, two problems with that, one, elections can be rigged, and two, many people are so brainwashed by TV, they value their enslavment. Even with JV in the debates and with ballot access, i have to wonder.

you lost me, what police and what bodies? Provided you have such an example, it's likely that I would only decalre a possibility. I sure won't automatically believe what police say and gets reported as truth.

You want me, the fly one, to look at a news article, that like most all news sorces, gets their facts from the police. Meaning that if the police tell them one thing, and someone else another, they will totally discount any opposing facts from police accounts.

Heres a fact, I wasn't there, you probibly weren't eather, a cop may have been there, but I know them to be corrupt sadistic liers so why i ask, should the fly one believe anything a cop says?

I've known them to lie monday through friday and on the weekends too. But again, i wasn't there. If I were, and survived the shooting, authorites (the police) would be telling the news who would then report it as fact, that I did this horrable crime. The fly one would be facing murder charges and this being such a high profile and public crime, i just might get a jury trial for a change.

On the gun side of it, the fly one says "It doesnt Matter!" ten thousand more of these cases could happen, 6.5 billion people could be killed by gun violence, a right is still a right and it's wrong to take that right away from one single person who hasn't and wouldn't do such a thing. So as for un control, no matter how many lives it wouldn't save, the ends don't justify the means. One single free person has more value than 9 billion happy slaves.
