Re: HELP! CHICKEN RECIPES,FAST!!

Coulda fooled me.

And maybe this will help clarify, there is a difference between paying something forward and paying something back.

Both are essential at times imo.

Some may not be able to differentiate the two.

Re: HELP! CHICKEN RECIPES,FAST!!

How about a wild rice and chicken recipe?

You just boil the wild rice but not fully, spray the 9 x 14 pan or oil it a tad, layer the bottom with wild rice that's been mixed in with Cream of Chicken Soup, or Cream of Mushroom Campbells, place bone in (I prefer) tastier, chicken breasts on top, cover with foil tightly and bake about 350 F for I don't know about 40 minutes or until the chicken breasts are done.  A little of the soup should be reserved to put on top of the chicken.  It's done when the chicken is done and the wild rice is as fluffy as you like.  Skin on is tastier but skinless is good too.

Lots of things I don't cook with a recipe, I just cook them so that's all I have.  Of course a little more salt than you might think and nice amount of pepper and mushrooms can be added too, goes very well.

You have to read the directions for cooking wild rice on the package, some people like it a little crunchy, I don't, I like kinda fairly cooked.

Re: HELP! CHICKEN RECIPES,FAST!!

4-6 boneless chicken breasts

2 large cans cream of chicken soup

2 pkgs dry Hidden Valley ranch dressing

1/2 cup milk

1 pint sour cream

1 8 oz brick of cream cheese

4 cups cooked rice

Mix the two pkgs of Ranch dressing with 1/2 cup milk.  Put all items in crockpot except the cream cheese and rice.  Cook on high for 4-5 hours.  About an hour before the chicken is done, cut up the brick of cream cheese and add to crock pot.  About 1/2 hour before chicken is done, boil rice.  When chicken is done, stir in the cream cheese.  It will pretty much be melted by then.  Serve over rice.  You can also add the rice to the crockpot when done and mix it all up.

Re: HELP! CHICKEN RECIPES,FAST!!

Asian-style:

marinated grilled chicken breasts

Ingredients: makes 4 Servings

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 teaspoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons honey

3 slices fresh ginger root

1 or 2 cloves garlic, crushed, depending on how much you like garlic

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the soy sauce, oil, honey, ginger root, and garlic. Heat in microwave on medium for 1 minute, then stir. Heat again for 30 seconds, watching closely to prevent boiling. Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish. Pour soy sauce mixture over, and set aside to marinate for at least 15 minutes. Preheat a grill for medium-high heat. Drain marinade from chicken into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Set aside for basting. Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until juices run clear. Baste frequently with remaining marinade. Chicken will turn a beautiful golden brown.

I have made this with rice 🙂

Re: HELP! CHICKEN RECIPES,FAST!!

You can get leftover food from a meal out put in a "doggie bag" to take home, in NSW.

Last time I did that there was a .30c charge for the plastic container. Which is OK.

Quite a few eat in restaurants here where I live, have a take-away menu as well. That is food sold to be taken home...restarauant has no control over that once it leaves there premises.
