Wouldn't it be hilarious if you got on well with them in RL and had not idea that you were sniping them on the boards...

guess it  could work in reverse as well? Afer several years two of us now realize we are related. We are good friends but don't always agree on issues.....which we accept easily.

I have met someone I didn't get along with on the boards, we have very different views on most things but..... we manage to be civil and realistic.

the old CW board had its problems buti can say from experience that it also had a huge amount of community spirit.

When my Mum had her accident, the CW board got together and donated money to send me to the UK to go and see her

I do think that if someone needed help here, that everyone would band together as I've seen done in the past. So I think the community spirit is alive & well, though maybe somewhat hidden at times

Maybe the arguments that go on here seem more intense as there are less people here all the time. Most have gone to FB, twitter or groups, where they can speak more freely. Here you can't even respond to someone without getting slaps  or have an opinion without upsetting someone

Hi JMK,

The old boards were the best, especially on Friday night up late, hic  😄 . 

Today it's all about trivial rubbish, endless sniping, calling posters out for some perceived insult  & BP'ing.

I don't come on here much at all but I keep up B-)
