Has anyone heard from Crosby, he is usually on the words thread.

yesterday he said his car was half under water, then we havent heard

anything else.

does anyone know where in Brisbane he lives?

Feeling really down and sad today.........20yrs since my mum died of ovarian cancer.

I was with her in hospital when she died, I was holding her hand, and now I cant get that memory out of my mind.

Over the yrs. I havent really thought to much about her, as we were not close, but today, it has really hit me, that it has been so long since I last saw her.

Where have all those yrs. gone?

Oh Pam. I am so sorry you are sad today. You wonder where these sad memories come from. No warning. They just pop up out of the blue. It just goes to show how we bury things but they will always come up when we least expect it. Go with it. Obviously you still need to mourn. I was like this on Father's Day remembering Dad & he has been gone for 32 years. There is still some mourning left :-x

Tomorrow is another day. Hopefully you will feel a whole lot better xxx

So sorry to hear of your sadness today, Pam. Judy is right - the mourning goes on. It's 17 years since I lost my Mum and I still think of her at random times, and in dreams. Whether we were close to our parents or not, I think that the recurrence of feelings shows how much we cared for them deep down.

Well....what a lovely day here today. Plenty of sunshine but we do need rain. The tank is dry. I believe we are going to have a long hot dry summer

I got into so much mischief today...went shopping on my own, had lunch, a haircut, purchased some sandals, a handbag & 2 tops. I don't think I should be let loose again :^O

Seriously though. There is nothing like shopping on your own. I got everything done that I wanted to do. No outside influences. My taste alone. Of course the downside is I only have myself to blame if I regret my bargain buys 😄
