Has anyone heard from Crosby, he is usually on the words thread.

yesterday he said his car was half under water, then we havent heard

anything else.

I thought I would share this pic with you. OH does the night shift & came home at midnight to this visitor in our shower downstairs in the laundry. Must have been critter day yesterday. We had a Honeyeater in our middle bedroom too, not to mention a creepy spider in the loo

Judy, you are so lucky to have all these visitors coming inside, glad it is you and not me:^O

The closest birds come to us, is on the back deck, the parrots come onto the table to be fed, they are quite tame.

You can keep your spiders......hate them.

Very cloudy and dull here, looks like rain. I really think they should change to daylight saving in Nov. instead of Oct, still like winter here.......

Crosby & Judy, you wouldnt know about daylight saving as you dont have it.

Yesterday, I felt like I had jetlag all day. slightly better today.

I do like your feathered visitor (a frogmouth?). I get the occasional possum coming in via the trees next to the front window. One of them kept bringing in twigs - I think they wanted to build a nest of some sort on the window sill. My cat Rachael is too laid back to hassle them in any way.

Despite a lot of grey clouds yesterday we've still had no rain. A storm is forecast for Thursday but I'll believe it when I see it.
