yesterday he said his car was half under water, then we havent heard

anything else.

I got a bit of a slap from eBay today. I feel a bit special now. Wasn't for anything too bad either 😮 Anyhoo I feel like I belong now :^O

It is so hot here atm. I was cold earlier but the wind has died down & it is really quite warm for this time of the night

Yes, Crosby it was a Tawny Frogmouth & he/she wasn't going to move at all. It was quite at home on top of the shower recess. Aren't cats useless??? I still have Melanie's cat & it couldn't care less what birds or animals are around. They all come & pinch biscuits out of her bowl right under her nose

I hope you don't have hail tomorrow Pam. We could do with rain here though. It is so dry & we have been warned it is going to be a long hot dry summer (bush fires scare me!). Council has already cleared all the bushland around our place & they NEVER do that. So now I am worried

I cant believe that you got a slap Judy, didnt think it happened to people like you.

It is absolutely freezing here today, 11deg, it is so cold:-(

Council that we come under has *burn offs* during the year around here in the hills, but havent seen many this year as it is always raining.

Last year was the first year ever that there were no fire restrictions due to all the rain we had.

Dont worry bush fires scare me too Judy, in 2009 when the fires were bad here, we had to leave home on 2 occasions, and that is not a nice feeling.

Hopefully you will get some good rain soon.

We actually had a bit of rain today. Yippee!!!!

I just read my friendly emails & I actually got 3 slaps!!!! Me? Yes, I did. It is getting that way I am not game to post anything. Think I will only post here from now on. Not slapable offences as far as I am concerned. Obviously someone has taken an offence to me 😞 Back inside my shell I think 😄

Hi everyone 🙂 Hope you are all enjoying Saturday. We went to Lighthouse Beach (one of our local beaches) for a burger lunch today. The wind was cold but at least it was sunny

I will mainly keep my thoughts to myself now Pam. Not worth the agro. Obviously a lot of people are not very nice....I still expect most people to be respectiful & well, basicaly nice. You would think by my age that I would know better. But I am who I am. I still think you are all noice :^O
