yesterday he said his car was half under water, then we havent heard

anything else.

Our public hospital system is really bad especially when you are in so much pain waiting....if it is life threatening they take you immediately. But for everything else it is the waiting game. Pain is just so debilitating & affects your quality of life

I am thinking of you Crosby & Pam. I hope you both will get answers soon, the correct treatment & get on with life (myself included)

I actually get to see the specialist on the same day as you have your Gastroscopy & Dilation, Pam. I have been waiting 4 months just to see a specialist. It would have been December but my OH had an earlier appointment with the same doctor & swapped his appointment with mine, bless him

I swear the system is getting worse. It was never this bad

I'll give them a little longer, then see if I can contact the back specialist to hurry things up a bit. If they'll at least tell me when I can expect to see them, I'd know where I stand.

Afternoon everyone:-)

Lovely sunny afternoon here, after a few days of rain and storms.

I didnt bother with a flutter on the horses Crosby, mine always seems to come last.

I was tempted to have a ticket in the tattslotto on tuesday, but gave that a miss to. I never win anyway.

I guess I am lucky in a way, as I go to the local hospital here in the Dandenongs, and the waiting list is never that long. All my history is there, and I also had my DD there 34yrs. ago, so I sort of call it *home*.

The only thing I am not having there is having my cataracts removed and I am on a long waiting list for that.

My eyes have been bad, especially the one with the glaucoma in, was all red and puffy & felt strange, I went to the chemist yesterday & pharmacist said, it is either alergy or stress causing it, and gave me drops to put in every 12hours, so alot better today.

Well...hello lovely people 😄

Hot & humid here today. We got about 3 drops of rain this afternoon & 3 last night! Lots of fires around in the local area. Not Port Macquarie but a few kms either way. Going to be a scary summer I think

Spring fever has hit OH. He has been cleaning around outside, repotting plants, cleaning the pavers, mowing...OMG...I have never seen so much activity. He has gone to work tonight for a rest I think

I do hope you are all happy & as well as can be expected. The warmer weather is a bit kinder on my knees. I actually get to see the specialist next Tuesday. A bit excited about that! Oh, I so need a life. lol :^O

The drought has broken. It's been bucketting down for the past half an hour. I think I might have brought it on by washing the car yesterday.:-)

Hi everyone, Hope everyone is okay.

Been awhile since I have been in, had my sons birthday last saturday, he would have been 40yrs, was a sad sort of day.

Had theGastroscopy yesterday, dont know the results, only know that biopsies were taken.

Since then, I cant stop sneezing & I dont think it is hayfever, I was fine when I went to the hospital & sneezing non stop when I came out........strange.

Still having heaps of trouble with my eye, have an appt. to see my dr. on monday, she is booked out till then, although I may make an appt. for tomorrow, depending how the sneezing is going.

Oh Purp you are in the wars. I am so sorry about your son, it doesnt get any easier for you as the years go by. Its so sad.

The sneezing thing is strange. I have heard of coughing but not sneezing after a procedure. Maybe they used very strong smelling stuff and it stayed up your nose.

What was the gastroscopy like? I  may have to have one , theres talk of it, but not sure yet. Do you really just go to sleep and thats it?

Also a big hello to everyone on this thread. I have to go now. Shatzi just brought mckool home from their walk. SHe saw a big dog and got spooked and turned around. Since she has been attacked four times by five dogs this year I dont blame her.
