yesterday he said his car was half under water, then we havent heard

anything else.

does anyone know where in Brisbane he lives?

Massive storm brewing here. It's gone very dark and there's a lot of lightning about. The power just went off for a couple of minutes.

The rain has started in earnest and it's absolutely bucketting down. Luckily I went for a walk earlier because I don't think I'll be venturing outside again today.

Crosby, how are you with these terrible storms up your way?

I saw some of the pics from yesterdays storm, there was a pic of Garrick Terrace in Herston, my ex's relatives live in that street, so hope they are okay.

Also Kelvin Grove.

I hate storms, use to get alot of horrible ones when I lived in Sydney.

Get storms here, but nothing like what they have in Qld & NSW, thankgoodness.

Cool day here, had rain overnight, sun is shining now.

Thanks for your concern. I'm ok. The rain's quite heavy and we're getting some hail. Fortunately the hail stones are fairly small and there's no damage to report.
