speaking of change, i believe the man made damage to the environment is irreversible and agree with hawk to some extent but the tax on carbon is not con , it is a waste of time and money in the long & short term.

Joe what I have against the tax is its a con making people believe something is being done while doing nothing but collecting tax $$

The second thing is that it affects the poor and less fortunate that cant pay more forcing they to use less while the better off people will just continue on using it with out a thought.

I know I dont worry about it and just use it as I always have, and its the same as water, I use it to water my lawn as I always have. 

The high costs only affect the poor

Im not sure if con is the right word hawk. perhaps its just ignorance. even if every country followed suit and adopted a tax on carbon this will still not reverse the damage thats already done. and i dont see a reversal happening especially with the increase in population.

A complete swing around would mean.. no humans.
