Have you tried ?

Dairy Farmers thick & creamy yoghurt?

OMG they are sooo nice I love the lemon, caramised fig, Mango & passionfruit. I haven't tried the coconut and raspberry but it's on the shopping list.

All of this 'low fat' businesss is the domain of the city  latte sippers and the like. they tend to have odd things going on in the bedroom if you get me. i thing yogurt plays no small role in that.

Re: Have you tried ?

only true yoghourt is Jalna which is sealed and made in the pot and my favourite is the premium vanilla but another nice one is the organic five:am vanilla bean. Both a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for.

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

It's good for those of us lowly chubby types who want to be around the perfect weight and size and escape heart disease. Odd things in the bedroom? what odd things are they?

Re: Have you tried ?

Natural low fat greek yogurt is better.

I couldn't eat that by itself. Putting it in smoothies as freddie does would be OK, with fruit to flavour it.

Re: Have you tried ?

It is really nice and gelatine FREE.

Hard to find the fig one so have only had it twice.

I am eating the vanilla one now it says on the pack sweetened full cream milk and cream yoghurt so it is not for

the low fat fans. Per 100grams it has 9 grams of fat but oohhhhhhhh so yummy.

Do most yoghurts have gelatine in them?

Re: Have you tried ?

I preferred the old Dairy Farmer's formula, which had about a third of the fat of the new stuff but still managed to be creamy and flavoursome.

There's a new brand called Rachel's, which I tried when it was on special at Coles the other day. 10% fruit, less than 3% fat and quite rich and creamy.

Yes unfortunately most yogurts contain gelatine / gelatin. To my knowledge both versions are from animal sources.
