Sounds bonkers to me. I know it is better to eat whole fruit and vege than drink the juice but surely there are other nutritional values to be considered.

I would guess different juices have varying nutritional benefits just like different fruit and vegetables have different minerals and vitamins. A very quick look at google found this (they were comparing juice with 'soda' but still relevant):
Fruit juice contains vitamins, minerals, and beneficial compounds that sugary soda typically lacks ( 16 ). Against popular belief, 1/2 cup (120 ml) of fruit juice is just as rich in most vitamins and minerals, including iron, potassium, magnesium, and B vitamins, as the same quantity of fresh fruit ( 4 , 16 , 17 ).Dec 13, 2019

I've always been told by doctors: Never drink your fruit
But does that mean that the health star rating on fruit juice should be lower than diet coke? That was the point I was making.
No-one is saying juice is better than whole fruit but surely it is vastly better than the chemicals in diet sodas?
