That's because the threads were not declared to be heated.  We have made a declaration of heated discussions so everyone knows before clicking on the thread that it is heated so no excuse for being offended.

It doesn't work like that though. Its not the posters who are offended and who declare threads heated and object to them.

Why though am*3? If you watch a movie on television at the start they declare the contents of the film.

For example; we often see;

THIS FILM CONTAINS

Sexual References, Sex Scenes, Coarse Language

You can't then watch the movie and then complain to the TV station that it contains sex scenes.
