I'm 5'8". The stretched-out look disguises weight issues.
Always asked by "little old ladies" to reach something up high at the supermarket. Often pulled muscles trying to reach things to avoid getting a stepladder around the home.
And for Mick, easier to keep men under the thumb.

Good thing about being short is people get stuff for me in the super market and people carry stuff for me. ๐

I wouldn't know cos I'm a bog average 5'6". Tall enough to not be short but certainly not considered tall.
My 15yo son is taller than me, my 12yo son is getting close and my hubby is 6' so I will soon be the short **bleep** of the family.

1.5 m. i have more space in my single bed or on the couch, i can stretch out without my toes touching the end of the bed. more space on an aeroplane, sat next to some poor 2m guy his knees touching the seat in front of him - and that on a 24-hour flight.
things i can't reach in the supermarket...well i find it plain rude to put things up 2m above ground. if it's in the fridge section i step onto the border of the fridge to get it. if it's in a shelf i reach through the wire from the bottom to get it closer to the front.
