I am a bit worried about air bags, driving is fine, my husband used to say I drive nearly in the engine.

A little woman I know sits on a cushion to see over the steering wheel and keeps a small step-stool in the car so she can climb in and out.  

I don't know why she doesn't just get a smaller car

It's the pits to be short and also afraid of heights.  Lately I can't go higher than the second rung on the ladder.  I've always had a heights phobia, but could manage a ladder.....not anymore.

One of my sons tells me that I sit too close to the steering wheel and that if the air bag goes off I will be in trouble. Well, if I sit back, I can't reach the pedals. 😞

that's not really fair for short

drivers then.

what is the safe distance supposed

to be?  both for steering wheel and

air bags ???
