It's this - do you have, anywhere in your country, a monument to the man who released rabbits into Australia? And, if so, what does it look like, and what does it say???
I've tried to find one, but I've had no luck.
Best wishes, Bob, the crazed yankee...

"Er, What's Up, Doc?" (Bugs Bunny)
WHY, why is it that nobody ever answered his question?
(Meanwhile)
"Sufferin Succotash!!! (Sylvester the Cat)
Allright, hold it right there! First, what the heck IS succotash. And, secondly, how much does it suffer, and third, why would somebody be torturing it in the first place???

Succotash
First created by Native Americans, this savory dish of corn, peppers, zucchini, and lima beans is still a favorite in the U.S. South. The name "succotash" is derived from the Naragansett Indian word "msickquatash," meaning "boiled whole ear of corn." Succotash is hearty enough to be served as an entree, but also makes a wonderful accompaniment to fried chicken or grilled pork chops.
You see it is not the succotash that is suffering it is the person who consumed it, a day later who is suffering, and the hold it is being polite in company. refined people refrain from farting in company. They only let one rip when they are alone, more to go around that way, you dont have to share 🙂

Thank you, poddster! I was truly afraid to look that one up, for fear that succotash might have been ground up rabbit ears, or something...!!!!
SPEAKING OF WHICH:
I opened a thread on the American boards - nobody answered -nobody! It was a simple observation that the Japanese have Yakisoba flavored potato chips! If that's so, I thought, why not create FUGU flavored potato chips, with every 30th chip being literally drenched in Ghost Pepper!! Or, even better, Japanese Habanero Fugu Wasabi chips!!!!!!
I'll admit it! I am a SLAVE for Yakisoba!! Love the stuff!!!!

we're the city where boeing, cessna, learjet, hawker and beechcraft originated. we still have learjet, cessna and hawker/beechcraft plants, but boeing is leaving after 80 years.we also have spirit ,and coleman plants. most of the coleman lanterns, camp gear, canoes, stuff like that is still made here.
biggest city in the state, but not the capitol,,lol! and we're still just a giant batch of small towns. i live in the delano district, the original downtown of wichita,it's a nice mostly crime free neighborhood, lots of artists, and quite diverse.
if you ever think of it,look up the city website, you'll see a picture that looks like a spaceship landed in downtown. that's century II,the convention center,i used to run the catering kitchen there. very strange, working in a circular building!
