So many stories out there about how, why and where bengal cats came into existance with anecdotal evidence dating back to the 1920's but the most popular one seems to be of Jean Mill back in the 1960's was doing all she could to stop ALC from being hunted for their fur, She rescued one, thought it was lonely so put a domestic cat in with him which resulted in some very interesting and different looking kittens, She registered the first bengal cat in 1983.

I wouldn't mind eventually having a black bengal, they also come in blue.grey but as far as I know, these are yet to be recognised. The melanistic bengal look impressive - like mini panthers.

I just found out that mine don't have an F rating because after an F4, they are considered to be Standard Bengal Cats.

Oh and blue and I are going into the cat property business. We are going to make a motsa.

We will train a couple of them to be the cats from hell when they are living elsewhere. 

We sell the property with bonus for the cats and a no refund clause, however they can be returned.

The cats go into full swing in the first week, get themselves returned, and we start the process over again

LOL. Sounds like a plan! Mine are half way there in terms of being demons. I've lost my taskbar because one decided to use my keyboard as a spring board. He is also very competent at turning the laptop off while I'm in the middle of doing something. Another has destroyed the exercise bike seat. The third was piddling in the dining room so I placed a kitty litter tray in it, just to see what would happen. The kitty litter tray remains unused and she's gone back to using the ones in their room. lol

Demons In Training

Oh good, glad to see you have started the training.

Cinders still loves hanging out in the bar. The bar is stocked and has my good glasses etc on it.

She is very careful not to damage anything.

So teenage alcohol bottle sniffing is part of the training. She is very much into the let you almost pick her up and then taking off and stopping just out side reach when she does not want to be put into the enclosure. If the door is open she will cruise in and out, however she seems to know that it's a time out thing lol

He is just a grumpy old man, Oh no hang on that's my brother.

Charm is a little anti social. Very choosey who he mixes with in the human world.
