David, Leroy now knows exactly who is going to take care of him in his forever home .. he also knows he has landed on his feet in an excellent place.

I agree with tasfleur......Leroy is acting like a dog who is completely relaxed and happy in his new home.
He is not a thief.....he is a hoarder

I have a question.
He looks big - but is he any bigger than Foo - who looked pretty big.
on โ11-02-2020 04:44 PM
by weight he is 34kg i'm told, i havent had him to the vets yet to see it for myself
foo was 34kg too
its been a year so memory of exactly how tall long or wide foo was is fading
but leroy seems slightly taller with bigger muscles in his upper front and back legs
his bum muscles are huge! thighs?
anyway, looking at him from behind which is what i see a lot of when out walking i see these huge muscles.
i suspect his big muscles will shrink as he wont be running anywhere now.
foo had been out of racing 6 months when i got him, hed been at the veternarian training school for a while as a training dog then a month or so in foster care.
the old saying use it or lose it prolly goes for greyhounds too.
btw, hes been desexed and micro chipped allready
i thought i was going to have to organise that but no which is good.
and i tried him with a pigs ear again today and he loved it.

He's an athlete! It'll take him a while to get used to the soft life!

last night he ventured into my bedroom for the first time and eventually figured out it was ok to get on his 'other' bed.
he spent all night in here and rosie was fine.
i think hes beginning to love his new life

He is more than loving his new life David. He is understanding that you are his life friend and I believe that dogs never forget who cares about them.

.... that just goes to show that doggy dreams and doggy happiness here in his new home doesn't always have to be exactly on the bed ... nothing wrong with doggy floor thinks Leroy ...

And maybe the floor is nice and cool.
