I guess subsedising them to keep jobs for Holden workers as well as a huge amount of small businesses in the West of Adelaide who supply holdens with parts was a bad idea and a waste of tax payer money.
Meanwhile Germany who has a well respected motor industry gives 6 times what we do and nobody complains.
There are allot more jobs out there!

1000 more jobs at quantas too. jobs disappearing like abbott supporters. alan joyce told bill that the carbon tax had no role, but that didn't stop hunt pretending it did.

A friend of mine accepted a redundancy package from qantas a while back and got a motza, was reemployed and has just
been offered redundancy again.... a double "dundancy' looks on the cards

its everyones fault except for holden

its the fault of the high dollar, so its probably gina and clive and andrew and bhp and rio's fault. we dont need to get rid of the mining tax, it needs to be overhauled so we take a fair share. they don't pay anything like enough.

So with the closure of Holdens will we see more of this?
