House Rules!

No not that house... the TV show House Rules.

Who's been watching that so far?

Who makes you want to through something through the TV at them?

House Rules!

I thought Brooke had a property seperate to Grant, and her family moved into his property when they got together

but I could be wrong, I don't pay that much attention to what's going on

You might be right,  dunno

Still doesn't seem fair.

To be a genuine show, I think they should only

have one property.

That would make them true  'battlers'

It wasn't the house at Mandurah that was provided for Russell and Carol - it was a luxury apartment that was reported as being theirs but was actually provided by Channel 7 for them to reside in.

I also would like to see Adam and Lisa win - he has always been pleasant with a lovely smile.

The house at Mandurah still belongs to Carole and Russell.

This is not their only home.  That is my point.

If they can afford more than one mortgage on

million dollar homes, then they are not battlers IMO

Did they have to be battlers? Was that a pre-requisite for the show?

Carole and Russell to win, purely for the entertainment value they have provided.

I really like Adam and Lisa, what a sweet couple. He treats her with so much respect. His family should be  so proud.

I've never really warmed to Candy and Ryan. He really wants it though!

They've all come out with more than they had going in, so they've done okay really.

Az. Wanted Carol and Russell Tito win for that reason too but I have seen pics of them at their huge home on the canal in Mandurah and now I want the kids to win. I really don't think I'll watch this show again it's lost all credibility in my opinion.

according to jo griggs that home is where channel 7 sent them for the week their house was being renovated.

I should have clicked on that post instead of yours Smiley Happy.

The show has lost it's appeal to me too, I would rather a battler be helped by these once in a lifetime chances then someone how does not "need" this luck.

Looking forward to the huge spat tonight!!

double thumbs up thanks smiley  In my stupid roundabout way - you said what I was meaning

And no - a battler is not a pre-requisite for the show but it should be!

I too would like to see a few battlers getting a chance like that, but the qustion is; can they afford to take three month of work and or have children looked after for such a long time?

That's where anther show would greatly draw an audience, if they could work in one area only and perhaps on weekends. So all contestants would live in the same area and not have to travel to another State every week. Also they would most likely have family or close friends that would mind the children for a couple of days once a week.

Would be lovely to see such a show, but not dramatic enough for TV Show producers.

I think it should be too. Or at the very least a couple/family with only one home.

I would like to see more of the actual renovating process (so I can tackle a few jobs around here). How much do they do themselves and how much is done by tradesmen.

And how do they manage to get new curtains/blinds etc that are a perfect fit in less than a week. I had curtains made to order through Spotlight and it took 6 weeks.

I also think it is wrong of the Overseers to let them do things that are blatantly dangerous e.g. the sharp cornered shelf and electricty outlet above the bunk bed.
