Which is exactly why we shouldn't go mucking around with mother nature.

I agree, but when the introduction of wolves was firtst mooted it caused great upset with the ranchers there. Self interest prevailed for 70 years with the loss of the wolves but I'm glad it's finally been vindicated by the wolves themselves.

We don't have wolves in Australia, but our Dingo population is being depleted more and more. Dingos keep a balance on wildlife the same as the wolves do in other countries.
Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic video. I liked that it highlighted the very positive effects of returning wolves to the park.
Sometimes what's ignorantly popularly viewed as vermin, killers, a menace is actually a vital part of the greater eco-jigsaw.

What a beautiful video. Someone mentioned in the comments following it that the sound of the wolves howling was like angels singing. I have to agree with that, it makes you shivery all over - but in a good way.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, because there are 80-some wolves in the state, has recommended that they be removed from the state's endangered species list. These are the same cretins who think and increase in hunting and fishing license costs will spur and increase in purchases.
We have our own little wolf family here in Southern Oregon..........the famous OR-7 found a mate and has fathered at least two sets of pups. They are located near Hyatt Lake, and have been accused of raiding cabins.
http://www.oregonwild.org/wildlife/wolves/the-journey-of-or7 tells of OR7's travels from NE Oregon to SW Oregon.
