How cold is it at your house right now?

It's 1 degree outside and it's only 9pm. I hope my little birdies don't freeze.

HEALTH ALERT! BURNING OF OLD RAILWAY SLEEPERS

bugger. They are replacing sleepers near me now. I did have thoughts of nicking the wood.

And now I wonder how much asbestos fibre I'm breathing in anyway, from the dust that blows off the tracks.

You would think if there was a risk, the workers removing the old sleepers would be wearing respiratory protection, which they aren't.

hahaaa.....silly me, fancy thinking it would rain all day here !!........Sun was starting to shine late arvo and today is....you guessed it.......beautiful!!

Think it's suppose to be 24 today, there's anice breeeze and I've been sitting in the sun reading.

I love wood heaters, so I'm a bit jellyarse of you southerners.  Sitting in front of a fire, nice glass of red  aaaaah! lucky ducks !

Some snow yesterday and this morning. Nothing on the ground though.

Kept the windows shut but opened the blinds fully to let that beautiful sunshine in to warm up the house.  Achieved quite a bit of  heat.  Almost time to close them to retain that heat for the night.

The wind is bitingly cold here on the Central Coast.
