How many here....................

...................think that homosexuality is a natural sexual orientation?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Gay people are capable of reproducing as are hetero people and many do, although only one is the bioligical parent which also happens in hetero couples.

There is plenty of scientific statistics out there in regards to homosexuality in species other than human.

But, aren't we supposed to be higher than those other species?

* wait for it *

are you suggesting homosexuals are inferior?

Just asking a question.

-  because they do it, so can humans?

Could be applied to anything

- 'Why do you steal?  Ans: 'It's OK because everyone else does".

- why do you urinate on the carpet? Because my cat did? - aren't we supposed to be 'higher' than that?

your argument points to you feeling humans should be above being homosexual, which indicates you feel homosexuals are inferior.

Defined by nature itself.

Well poddy yes then it is natural because nature made gay people that way

Nature requires to replicate itself constantly through male-female insemination of all species, so it has no use for unproductive same-gender unions.

Nature also has safeguards for overpopulation.

Az, nature and evolution has, over millions of years, evolved male and female of all species of flora and fauna for the purposes of procreation and the continuation and survival of higher forms of life on this earth.

So was it nature that developed homosexuality?

For what reason?

Poddy, Nature doesn't do anything "for a reason."  Everything in nature is random, evolution is simply the process by which some products of nature prove to be more successful than others and pass on their genes to their descendants.

Homosexuality is obviously not biologically a successful product of nature because homosexusal relationships do not produce offspring without outside intervention, but that does not make homosexuality unnatural.

Natural: existing in or derived from nature; not made or caused by humankind.  http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/natural

Re: How many here....................

Are you comparing homosexuality to thievery or a cat peeing on the carpet?

Humans being higher beings is nothing but bs.

Re: How many here....................

So far no one has put an argument to support their claim the homosexuality is a natural state.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
