I have lived in 4, my home I grew up in which my parents still live in, then our 1st home as a married couple, sold that, rented until we bought this home we are currently in. I think I want 1 more move before I'm too old to do it. Do you love where you live or do you like change?

My sister and her husband have bought and sold 21 houses in their married life. I am going to have an apron and teatowel made for her for her birthday with all their addresses printed on them :^O

24 that I can remember:
7 as a child (may be more, have to clarify with Mum)
5 as a rebellious teenager/young adult - flats/houseshares
6 during my 6 year stint o/seas
6 that I have owned as an adult.
The only way we are leaving this house is either if we win Lotto (will look around, but not necessarily move). Even if I die, I am going to be buried on this property.

22 by rough count if I really thought about it probably more

30 and only 2 in the of these in the first 23 years but 28 houses in the past 27 years. this year we will probably have three Christmases running in the same house, the firs time for about 26 years for me. i would love to buy and settle in one place for a long time. we keep either moving for work, study or the property is sold from under us.

Wow - you guys sure have moved heaps!
I've only lived in 5 and all within a 30km radius of Sydney.
1 x Childhood home
3 x houses with hubby
1 x rental while we renovated (12 months)
We've lived in short spurts (1-6months) in various places overseas for holiday and work but I never considered these 'home' so they don't count.

33........thought this one would be the last but realise we might need to move to a lowset house sometime in the future.
We never really have holidays, just moved all over the place (twice over to WA and back to Qld) up and down both coastlines...only in the top halves though, except when I was a child...born in vic.
I sometimes envy paople who have lived in the same area their whole life, it must bring about a certain feeling, knowing where everything is/was and seeing the same people around for years.
