Who would have thought that the solution to a Superman
comic auction would have been sea monkeys!!
I apologise to all whose eyes have been burned to a crisp.

When I was 7 / 8 years old I used to sneak a read of the horror comics in the cupboard of my Dad's friends house when we went to visit.
In primary school I read Mad Magazine and Archie.
In high school it was Mad, and Avengers.
Then in college 2000 AD, then I discovered minotaur books and went nuts. So many incredible underground comics and zines. Then I had children and my quiet reading hours evaporated into nothing.
I miss those days.
