Would you want these infidel-converts (which makes them not infidel anymore) home again?
on โ19-05-2015 02:30 AM
Yes I believe so
Because at some point if they live long
Enough they may come to the realization
That they have made a huge mistake
They are very young and deserve a second chance

There are plenty of people in Australia who deserve a second chance. The added bonus is those people don't want to attack us. I know where I'd rather spend the effort and the money.
If people leave to fight for a foreign regime then one has to suppose they are adult enough to take responsibility for their actions. I mean, they're going to fight . . . with guns . . . and real bullets . . . they might die and they must know that . . . and still they go?
Let them leave with their lunacy and don't allow it to return to infect anyone else.

And what if the tables were turned and young Australian men were
Joining I S as a pretence to secretly work
Against them .
We would never know this because they
Never come back

it is not our business to go to foreign countries and wage war. good grief it's halfway around the world!
if they want to kill each other it's none of our business.

You mean agents? as in undercover operatives? I'm sure that if the Australian govt sent any of those, then they'd be allowed to return. If they get killed? Well, surely the risks are outlined in the job description.

Ah, but it is our Business to go to foreign countries and wage war . . . because we want their resources.
This weird mixture again of politics and religion. it seems impossible to shake it out and separate the issues.

Ok, so we have one group of people (civillians; albeit with strong religious and political convictions) who will willingly go overseas to fight and maybe die for an ideology.
And then we have the national defense force; the military who are at the direction of government. They sometimes go overseas to fight as well.
How are these two groups different? They both believe in what they are doing. But maybe they are both misled, mistaking myth for truth.
