How would you best describe right wing propaganda?

Fear would be my best description

Anyone else?

Stop changing the subject.

You said Abbott spreading fear of attacks - based on what has occurred - and probably intel and the statements by ISIS

he is right on warning the public.

Search of bags - probably based on intel, why tie up a whole load of costly resources ?

Bondi is an obvious, iconic lightly defended, high media exposure target.

How is it changing the subject? Shouldn't we fear the reality and the obvious and not be alarmed by the unlikely?

The world is a seething cauldron of violence, disease and catastrophes at the moment, and it's not due to right-wing politics, is it?

I disagree with that comment. a lot of the worlds current problems are due to right wing policies

for example.... what we've done and created in the Middle East

for example... in Australia, the division and hatred the abbott govt is causing in the community.

You changed the subject by bringing in dying by car accident !

Alert but not alarmed ?

It's not so "unlikely" as has been shown by the attacks and planned attacks already.

Just take a glance at the front pages of the telegraph, or listen to Alan Jones etc. The abbott government is using scare tactics in regards to muslims and the fear of an attack of some kind.

I do listen to Alan Jones. His latest campaign has been for the disgraceful forclosures on Australian Farmers. That's right-wing propoganda is it?

The Abbott government doesn't have to look far to find scare-tactics with regards to mulims. Did you perchance hear about the siege in Martin Place where a muslim radical executed 2 innocent ppl?

I'm sure you did, because you started a thread about whether it actually might have been the police that actually shot them.

What sort of propoganda would you call that?

Did you perchance read about the threats that aussie muslims fighting overseas have been issuing to the Aus government on their twitter account?

You don't call that scare tactics?

Happy New Year, Donna. You need it.

There aren't enough jobs unfortunately. This government is wasting far too much money that could be invested in job creation.

they are destroying jobs and there will be lots more people on the dole queues in the coming years..

for example the car manufacturing industry in Vic, though these companies wanted subsidies to continue.. they employed real  Australian people whose wages went back into our economy, so it was a good investmenst

the submarines.... I was just reading this morning that the shipbuilding industry is in trouble too
