Australian families to wear the pain of Labor's massive debt bomb
How would you pay back Labors MASSIVE debt that they have left Australia with?
What would you do to get this massive debt problem under control that Labor left us?
What would you cut or trim to get this MASSIVE debt problem (caused by Labor and their failed spending policies) under control
How would you pay for all these WELFARE programs and never ending handouts? Who has to pay for these and how?
How would you pay for the rising number of pensioners over the next 2-3-4 decades etc What would you do and how do you pay for this?
So what would you do to ballance the books and budget and lower and get rid of the massive DEBT we have?

Joe Hockey reveals Labor's $667 billion 'debt bomb' in MYEFO statement
AUSTRALIANS face the worst hit to income since the 1950s, rising unemployment, a national debt ballooning to $667 billion and a legacy of spending that had crippled the budget, Treasurer Joe Hockey warned yesterday
TAXPAYERS were on track for a $667 billion debt bomb if Labor's policies and spending was left unchecked over the next decade, budget papers reveal.

Yes azureline, I agree. Joe used to be all cuddley and lovable *PPFFFffffttttt! (not).....sorry!!
Yes all pollies should FREEZE their pays and CUT all their perks.....and especially SLASH and BASH up their parliamentary Superannuation Scheme programme of events-inline with ANY detrimental slashes and cuts that they decide targeted community groupings should take.
We don't need pollies flying all over the country.....maybe a few need to do attend a few special functions and carry out duties like funerals and state visits and such but CEASE ALL intrastate, interstate and overseas 'business' and 'official' trips and meetings.
Cut out ALL 'outside of Parliament House' breakfast, lunch and dinner 'meetings' in restaurants and casinos and wineries etc
If the meeting can't be held in the Parliament House in ACT or at a Liberal State office or similar in a Govt funded or 'linked' association dining room then go 'round to someone's house like we regular folk have to do or use a web cam or set up a tele conference link .......this should save quite a few $gazillions.

Low Debt
Australia's debt is the second lowest in the OECD. Gross debt stands at 28.9% of GDP.
This compares to Japan at 224%, Greece at 193.2%, Portugal at 133.1%, Italy at 129.6%, Ireland at 127.7%, United States at 113%, France at 108.2%, UK at 110.4%, Canada at 85.5%, Spain at 100.2% and Germany at 86.2%.
We do not have high levels of debt. It is a red herring.

Actually, Australia doesn't have the debt the LNP cries about as many many posters have given evidence to not only in this thread but also economic experts world wide.
The Liberal party's scare campaign is not working as it should as most people now have access to the rest of the world and we can source the truth other than from biased MSM and wolf cries from politicians. Constantly repeating the mantra doesn't make it true.

I have a better idea, if Labor voters have a welfare mentality how about the Libs on middle class welfare give it back? I would go as far as to say that it is the right leaning that have a welfare mentality!
