With a small group of 28 others...
It was awesome....
He is an amazing man with a great heart.... great ideas.... great sense of humour....
I liked him before but am now very impressed.
It was a privilege to be there and a night I will remember for a long time.

Did you mention some Aussies voters (not at that dinner) want to see and hear from him ?
thats a very good point, its all very well standing up in front of a bunch of fawning devotees.. how about a debate with the PM ?
no ticker .
It looks as though it may be too risky .

He's at it again, demanding the footy is held up for him, demanding more tickets at the last minute & corporate ticket holders had to vacate at his behest & he demanded a lift be kept reserved for him at the end of the game.
Anybody who knows this man knows he hasn't changed, anybody who watched his chaotic dysfunction before Gillard knifed him knows he hasn't changed. He can't change, he's like the scorpion & the turtle, it's his nature & he can't change that.

Cats Back, I am glad that you got to do that .It would mean a lot to you .
In discussing his appeal to female voters...I hope that it was considered that female voters could and should, perhaps ,be looking for real content and have been watching and listening ,seeing what's there and what's not...making up their own minds ......just like any male voter.

Cats Back , we aren't all going to meet him and I don't see the need....personally I would prefer to hear about his policies and to put himself out there ...he seems to be holding back.
My Father was a salesman type I know the type
You do know that the election has not been called and that is when the OPPOSITION usually release their policies don't you????
Ah... so you compare Tony Abbott to your father????? That makes sooooo much sense now...

Did you want to help him Cats Back ? I am a voter am I not ? I am a female too btw .Maybe being able to consider people of either gender who may not be tempted to vote his way could be a start?

Politicians do a lot of selling themselves ...some carsalemen don't do that job well and not all are honest

I am so impressed with Tony.... not only did he listen to everyone but he asked us questions and really tried to understand our wishes for a new government.
He is so much better looking in person... and at the end of the evening when I went to get a photo with him he even remembered what I talked about and wished my son luck on his small business...
A lot of things were talked about and even the difficulty in getting the woman vote... I think if women met him in real life they would decide to vote for him... (not all women but a lot more)
I'm glad that he answered the questions of the 28 or so people there at least
I don't care about his looks...not relevant at all...but in all honesty no way appealing to me.I'm not voting for a second husband. It's a worry imo if he needs to asks how to attract female voters and that females meeting him in the flesh would help

Cats Back ,
How often have we heard that the gender issue is not being used ?
If you meet Tony Abbott again would you please tell him that my decisions regarding my vote are so much more than gender related/based.The ability to see and respect that that is the case would be a positive thing imo.
He needs to start considering the unconverted and listening to them as he did you.He has your vote secured I take it ?Being able to stand up , or perhaps at least be seen to try to attempt it,to their scrutiny ,would be a plus for any politician I would think.
I mentioned salesmen...I am very aware of the tricks of the trade ....the more garbage and deflection tossed in to the technique the more I look for what really matters .

that's good Lion, What I might have been wanting to see from Tony Abbott to feel that he has as he claimed Changed ...I haven't.In fact I have just read the opposite of that .I'll go let the steam off outside
