With a small group of 28 others...
It was awesome....
He is an amazing man with a great heart.... great ideas.... great sense of humour....
I liked him before but am now very impressed.
It was a privilege to be there and a night I will remember for a long time.

What have landlines/extension phones in buildings got to do with installation of NBN boxes. NBN broadband does not need a landline.
My house could have had 10 landlines and 10 people with computers living there using the internet (wirelessly). That would still only require 1 NBN box, even if there was NO landlines at all.
NBN is here to stay.. like it or lump it. I like it.

whatever you and tone say.. the problem is that people think he's a piker, know he's ducking Rudd out of fear. if he has a card he ought to show it .. otherwise he simply reinforces the view he has nothing to offer. if he wants to win he has to do something like take a risk .. if he keeps ducking real scrutiny Rudd will run away with it.

I can't remember how they worked am3 but they were noisy and BIG.
BTW....ironically, I just got off the phone from Albanese's office who invited me to whine to them in writing about the complete lack of competition and the fact that telltale charge like a wounded bull in the basence of any competition = MONOPOLISTIC behaviour. They are going to look into how regional areas without competition can get a more reasonable wireless price from TELLTALE instead of being bent over backwards and ...well you know. Apparently they have a dept that looks into access and pricing..yippee.
The guy I've been speaking to reckons the more regional people who write to the minister with the same issue ie. monopolistic price gauging from the only carrier, the more likely it may be that something can be done to stop it happening in regions with no other competition. it would take legislative amendment so they need it in writing. They've already confirmed that their maps show we're dead in the water so that's half the battle won. Once I do the email to them, I'll post a thread of it here so everyone else in regional Oz can have a whine too...why not. altogether now !!!

It appears someone didn't like my pictures either. Yet the fiddler can post endless cartoons and caustic notices at will?

Well for the record you can't call someone a lonely man either... even if it might be true.
I apologise...

I think if women met him in real life they would decide to vote for him... (not all women but a lot more)
I wouldn't.. In my eyes the man is a bigot, a sexist and a homophobe..
I met Natasha Stott Despoja once when she came to town for a conference of some kind.. She was nice...

I seriously wonder if he's ever tried to get online outside a city? obviously not.
Cue, the cities have issues too. There are not enough ports to go around, the copper is bad in some areas and some areas have too many people for the type of delivery method used which causes horrendous congestion issues.
Although the coalition have come up with what they call their NBN version it doesn't address many of the problems and the bad copper will be replaced with new copper instead of the fibre network Mike Quigley and Co designed.
