The show was visually spectacular - amazing, costumes, puppets, sets and lighting. The storyline was weak (no surprise there!) and the first 5 scenes in act 1 make no sense - unless you are on acid!
But visually it's great, and once King Kong comes out, it's pretty cool. The zombie/disco natives on Skull Island have amazing costumes - and the lighting on them looks unreal.
Act 2 is much faster moving (and more big ape!).
I liked it, but it's not great. The music isn't that good.
I think it will really appeal to late teens/early 20's who might be going to the first show, and visually it's awesome. And of course, that's the target audience!
🙂 Worth seeing, but be warned - it's slow to get into the story!
After party was great.
After after party....was great, but messy!!! :^O

I just wanted to say, all the celebrities I talked to were lovely, polite and were happy to have photos with me. I've heard people say celebrities can be rude but the ones I spoke to were just really nice people! Didn't have a great deal of time to celebrity stalk as it would have been rude to just dump my friend to do that (plus lots were his colleagues)!!!!
