Common knowledge, cats are hard to wrangle. If they don't want to go, they stay, lol.
I always wonder how firemen do it, even with those thick gloves. I read this in yesterdays paper.....
"This frightened feline threw a hiss-y fit on Thursday when New Yorkโs Bravest saved it and another cat from a burning four-story apartment building in Brooklyn.
The blaze erupted in a top-floor unit at 473 Fifth Ave. in Park Slope at 10:15 a.m., and it was brought under control by 10:40 a.m., authorities said.
No humans were home, but FDNY saved the two furballs from the burned-out apartment, this freaked-out tuxedo and a gray tabby.
So thatโs 18 lives saved, between the both of them.
Firefighter Joe Hayes, from Ladder Co. 131, transported the caterwauling Brooklynite to a nearby deli, where it and its tabby pal were kept until their human roommates came to claim them.
Firefighters at the scene believe the blaze, which is still under investigation, was touched off by an electrical malfunction."
