He is such an inspiration and a hero to us all, let's hope he receives the help he so desperately needs.

Re: Ian Thorpe

I have missed the Mental Illness thread and the wonderful people sharing their experiences. I know that I got a lot of comfort and support from it.
I know privacy is important but Groups can tend to fizz out and become stale with limited posters. Just my thoughts.

Re: Ian Thorpe

I am glad to read that ten teeny... and you are right, the private threads tend to lost impetus because it requires going into another part of eBay and sometimes we would prefer just to hit the thread here while we are ready others.

Someone only has to start the thread and I'm sure it would take off.

Maybe you could begin it?  You don't have to do more than just explain that you have started a thread if anyone is interested.  I know you would be treated with respect Smiley Happy

Another hot day for you purple? We have been lucky here so far (shouldn't speak too soon) South Coast NSW. We haven't had any extreme temps in Jan, last year we had a couple 45+.  The weather has been quite poor really for anyone having a summer holiday around here.

You can come to Melbourne tomorrow it is going to be 41degSmiley Sad

Re: Ian Thorpe

You worded that so much better than I did Darkie.
I knew stale was the wrong word!

I'm not sure either. It was good while it was there but it can leave people very vulnerable.
