One person.

Was he charged with assault (as claimed by Christopher Pyne.. the female MP's were 'assaulted')??

Re: If the Uni protest was not violent....

He allegedly assaulted a uni guard outside the building. It had nothing to do with Bishop.

Mind you no charges were laid and the police knew nothing about it.

catmad wrote - why did this guy get banned form uni??  -it is given in the article you quoted????

Tom Raue, who was among the student protesters, received a letter on Friday from the head of campus security telling him he was banned from the university for a month – which closely coincides with the time he has left to serve on the student board.

In the letter, Mr Raue was told he was captured on video footage physically forcing his way through security and police officers.

"We are also aware that you allegedly punched a campus security officer in the face and that this is being investigated by NSW police," Campus security manager Morgan Andrews wrote.

A police spokeswoman said she was not aware of any investigation.

Ahh. I noticed that this is the SMH article which CLEARLY states the was removed because of the incident with the guard.

A bit selective in your inferences huh?

Re: If the Uni protest was not violent....

That paints a different picture doesn't it?

I don't like the jostling or pushing or shouting...................... but she wasn't assaulted  and she seemed quite ok, smiling the whole time.

Christopher Pyne spouting on about assault of the female MP's on campus, doesn't make it so.
