There's that thing in the works that you put in your ear...a real-life Babel Fish. Heard about it but not seen the video before. So why not call it that, I wonder? we'll see soon enough if it works. They need funding.

Also...crowded rooms? Multiple sounds? Overlapping conversations? Be interesting to see if it works out and about with enough accuracy.

It is indeed Donna.

But I think there will still be some people who will just yell to be understood

"Oh, you don't speak English?     Well let me yell at you anyway"

Fabulous invention.......of course the next step would be a multilingual piece which differentiates language/dialects/bogan-talk

Could be useful when amongst foreign "diplomats" and just know they are talking about you.

Are they talking about my long legs, luscious hair and beautiful eyes?

Or are they planning to terrorise me?

When I went on business to Japan in the 80's I had a small pocket translator.

A little like a calculator with an alpha numeric keyboard.

Many on the market now.

Not as easy as just talking, rather than typing.
