British blue and british shorthair are the same breed...The british shorthair comes in an amazing range of colors..The most well known and popular is the blue..You can also get lilac..white..chocolate..red..bi colors..black and colorpoint and others too..I ised to show scottish folds and scottish shorthairs which commonly used british in the breeding a while ago to get that round teddy bear faced look and plush coat which a cobby type body structure that british are famous for..British shorthairs can grow very large

Thanks for that jenni. I have always liked British Blue cats. I wouldn't mind having a visiting one.

he most likely will be desexed most purebred cats sold as pets usually are de sexed by reputable breeders so he probably wont spray..How ever if he does inside you will definatley smell it or he may spray up against your door or closest to your house outside to mark it if he chooses to claim your home..If you have no other cats this is the most likely reason he has chosen your place to chill out in..Also once you feed a cat ( even only one time) if they can come back they will..Dont be surprised if he has a few routine visits around the neighbourhood..one other thing you probably know but just a tip in case you do not.. dont give him a dish of cows milk..it can really upset his tummy..

Purple Haize, that is one of the most beautiful "smiles" I have ever seen on a cat, he is just lovely.
