It seems to me from what I can make out of this story he interrupted Grandmoons conversation as well as speaking in a language she and the other lady couldn't understand. Pretty rude IMO.

As an aside, I don't believe it is rude to speak to others in another language if your dual language is something other than English. My parents naturally speak Italian when they meet up with other Italians as this is the most instinctive for them.

I think it is rude to speak in  another language when there are a group of people together some of whom don't understand that language. I'm from a European family and whilst our language was spoken in the home by our parents whenever anyone was around that did not understand everyone spoke English and if you didn't you got pulled up mighty quickly.

I am not sure why so many come to this country and then not want to become Australian but prefer to practice what they always have, when they can do that happily where they came from.

Its nothing to do with the text in your  C&P it is what I see as contempt for what some want and expect Australians to change to suit minority groups.

In that case why would a c&p on what is racism and our Laws not have anything to do with what the OP did/asked ?
