Is there a special name for a ramekin?

just little bowls to put your mustards and sauces etc in for on the dinner table?

I've got a white dinner set with gold edges, and trying to find matching dishes etc - I just know them as ramekins, but is there a special name?

Thanks

these are a bit more ornate, but might they do?.

That, is pretty much what I am looking for, thank you! (plus, I can probably pick them up! It's only a couple suburbs away!)

could I now bother you to give me your opinion if they would kind of match the china dinner set?

It's just this dinner is pretty important and it needs to be kinda splish.

Another possibility,if you have an Asian shop near you would be to look for some little handleless japanese teacups or saki cups,

what about these?

would it matter if the herb names were on the side?

are they a bit cheapish and nasty? (be gentle, I own other bits to this set LOL)

They're only $13.00 so if you pick them up and then decide they are not quite  right you won't have wasted a lot of money.
