Isn't this whole leadership challenge about?

Trying to make sure Labor doesn't get back in?

Given that Tony Abbott is so incredibly unpopular.

Isn't this whole leadership challenge about?

but the 'opposition' as you call them are his own party members

It may be called tacticts by some but to others he is just plain 'running scared'.

It has been declared yet another 'Captain's call' and didn't he say he wouldn't do those anymore? His MP's are furious that they haven't been given enough time. Even if a spill happens and he survives, it is now only a matter of time. Evidence too is that there is no-one to blame but himself.

My opinion low and sneaky act. Abbott wouldn't know tactics if it hit him in the face.

He's looking silly and would have been better to have had Turnbull onside in QT.

They've got Bronnie onside and she would have turfed any opposition members that mocked abbott, as she always does whether they mock him or not.

Now he just looks like he is reacting to anything Turnbull says by doing the opposite of what he gives Abbott credit for.

Do you put your faith in graphic artists and the media hype Donna, Is that a true Leftie trait?

Show me a current Poll where Abbott is preferred PM if you don't like the graphic.

That poll would have to offer the choice of:

1   Tony Abbott

2   T Abbott

3   Anthony Abbott

4   Mr Abbott

Yep! This whole present scenario was orchestrated from before the LNP won the last election imo.

They want a free pass thru the next election.....Smiley Wink

.....some of us voters can see thru the tactics but unfortunately most are apathetic and sadly don't care

That's okay Donna.....I do hope in a way that either Abbott stays or Turnbull scrapes in!

Neither of them will make it through the next election imo.

I am sceptical about this whole leadership spill scenario......it could be all a beat-up......then after Tuesday....everyone will flow out slapping Abbott on the back saying what a great bloke he is and how he has all their support (apart from a few backbenchers who have been set-up as scapegoats for this 'faux spill to get on the table)....then we the voters will just finish Abbott off!

or

They want both us and Turnbull to 'think' that he is going to be the new Golden Boy......BUT *a small chosen few have been sworn to secrecy about who the nominee will be!!! TAA-DAA!.....and these 'corka rse' members will be messaged their WHOM to nominate minutes before the votes are given and then they in turn signal to the rest the WHOM to vote for. Secret nods and special handshakes and code words......and if they are allowed mobile phones in there 'text message received' noises will reach a crescendo at a critical point in time....then *BANG!

as the lid on the ballot box snaps closed (whatever LOL!... artists licence)

watch this 'space'

Oh! to be a fly on the wall in there on Tuesday LOL

OMG!!! you both have a vivid imagination.

If the truth be known and as i said in an earlier post It was the media in an attempt at a feeding frenzy, they instigated this whole scenario. The Lefties pounced on the bandwagon to try to influence public opinion and try to vindicate the Krud/JOOLYA!!/Krudd fiasco.

Only thing is the the ones who were supposed to bite didn't 🙂

Lift your game Lefties and begin to realise that the general public is not as gullible as you think 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The discontent came from within the party, not media frenzy.

Abbott has no finesse, apart from his other obvious problems... not suitable as a PM.

I doubt anyone posting the news of the spill here was looking for a bite from anyone here. ... it's  the news of the nation at present... speaks for itself.

Put simply if Abbott wasn't such a dud PM, he wouldn't be in the position he is in now. Brought all his woes on himself.

40 years ago I was asked to stand for local Council. I denied then, due to tight family commintments.

Today I am sorry I did not accept and progress into politics.

I could not have done a worse job than our last four PMs, but today I would have a cushy home and life pension with all sorts of perks thrown into the retirement.

Oooohhhh, how sorry I am!

Just think, you could have thrown a whole heap of money at one of your local organisations, schools or uni's and

guaranteed yourself a nice juicy home town job when you left Office, just like Julia did !

am3 Wednesday is fast approaching and we will see how your prediction went 🙂

The job of Prime Minister is not a popularity contest. there were some hard decisions that had to be made and they were. they may not be popular with some people but the platform on which the government was elected has been met in most part. The illegal immigrants have stopped the noxious carbon tax is gone and the debt is being reeled in in spite of a hostile opposition.

The reason that the Prime minister is not popular is because he has made those hard calls.

Changing the figurehead will not alter policies, so what advantage would there be?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
