It is so quiet here...

I can't believe how quiet it is here. I remember years ago we predicted that the board would one day have so few members left that it would end up like this. At the time it seemed almost ridiculous.

Anyway, hello to anyone who remembers the good old days. I hope some of you are still around.

It was a most splendid day!  The weather turned on a grand display for us, the musicians sang and played christmas and other stuff and much fun was had.

The great Australian cake eating tradition was on board and by 4.30pm everything was gone (apart from some secret goodies that appear to have been hidden in the refrigerator for later)   ...

PS .... the 'beverages' were in the cake, the rest was unspiked punch (I think unspiked, don't know for sure!), tea, coffee and other associated bubblers.

Now to get ready for Christmas!

21 days, that's how many days you have to buy 10 presents. You need to go out every second day and buy 1 thing. If you do that you'll just make it in time. 😉

Debra, I've bought nothing yet.   I had 2 presents that I bought during the year,

but i'm second-guessing myself whether they'll actually like them now.

Thinking of leaving town  

And I think Mlor has bought at least 8 presents for the dog...........but ya didn't
