It is so quiet here...

I can't believe how quiet it is here. I remember years ago we predicted that the board would one day have so few members left that it would end up like this. At the time it seemed almost ridiculous.

Anyway, hello to anyone who remembers the good old days. I hope some of you are still around.

When I say I don't do birthdays - that's just me and hubby (whose b/day is on 22nd)

But I have twin grandaughters whose birthday is on Boxing Day.

They're 24 this year

I'll throw money at them.  Who doesn't like money for their birthday?

I'm leaving it for his mother to buy whatever it is, and then I'll give her the money.

If it makes you feel any better, large grandson (19)  is getting the traditional

present from Grandma.

During the year, I put all my 50c pieces that I get in change into a money box.

He's been getting that since he was a young 'un, and looks forward to counting it.
