It is so quiet here...

I can't believe how quiet it is here. I remember years ago we predicted that the board would one day have so few members left that it would end up like this. At the time it seemed almost ridiculous.

Anyway, hello to anyone who remembers the good old days. I hope some of you are still around.

Mlor,  I usually buy just tin ones from the asian $2 shops.

  You have to use a can opener to open them, so no taking

                               any money out during the year.    I also have a piece of paper

                               and keep a tally of how much is in there.    I don't tell him I know.

Several things were made to "disappear" (by me) a couple of weeks ago.   Mr. Tas has been doing lots of painting around the house and somehow managed to get just as much paint as anywhere else on himself .. 

So that's made it easy for Christmas ... new overalls, new jeans, new slippers, new work shoes, new safety glasses, new paint brushes and associated goodies .... 

How easy is that!!!

( .... and of course, some nice new computer software and a ton of his favourite home made ice cream, pavlova and cheesecake) over the next few weeks while he's on holiday.

I still haven't got son a Xmas present. And.. get this .. my daughter asks me what I bought her brother for his birthday. I show her the gift card for playing online video games and she says "oh good I'll get him the same .. easy".

cat my son likes getting those online cards too. We have one for him and his brother is giving him one too. So I'm sure your son will be happy with more than one.

btw I ended up getting a round beach towel for the Kris Kringle tomorrow. I liked the idea of a round one so much that I got one for myself as well. lol
