8 days to go.
At some stage I think I said I would abandon the whole idea of bringing back the missing once it got to Christmas day.
However, I think I'll keep it going until Christmas 2017. If for no other reason than to watch ima count down 364 more days.

Ever been disappointed in the lack of leadership skills in your Team Leader and you wonder why they are getting paid more than you?
Our illustrious TL gave us a Xmas card this week. I thanked him profusely. I mean, who doesn't want a bulk "bought from the supermarket" Xmas card from your boss as a way of thanking you for all your hard work over the year?
I promptly threw it in the bin when I got home.

I would say you are lucky.
The worst employer I have come across is Australia Post.
My OH used to work for AaE when it was a partnership between AP and QANTAS. Year after year they used to be given a choice of a ham or fish for a Chrissie gift. It then changed to a $250 gift card.
Two years ago they became StarTrack, wholly owned by AP and the gift was a (very) small box of assorted lollie samples like you get in show bags. Interestingly, the provider of the lollies is a customer so I guess they got mates rates for them as well. My OH noticed a number of the boxes in the bins at the base....the drivers did not even take them home.
Last year they got nothing....zero...zilch. I doubt that it will change this year.
