If you want to get rid of the whole thread, ask the mod to remove it

Do you mean a 'message' to another member, or a post in a thread? If it's a post, then you can click on Options and edit the post, delete it if you choose. Dunno what you can do if it's a message tho.

i started this topic but after posting it decided id rather not but when i tried the edit there was no delete message just edit it.

once i hit post seems the actual message box is permanent but i can remove whats in it mostly.

much better would be a delete message button.
