It's my birthday!

I am actually 31 today, but my boyfriend thinks I am 27.  Thus far, no one has pointed out to him that they were all present at my 30th last year!!!!  :^O  

We had a PIRATES vs Ninjas party on Saturday.  Very few ninjas turned up.  Perhaps they did turn up, but because they are ninjas I didn't see them.

In the middle of the night my daughter came and got in bed with me, and said happy birthday.  She told me she got me a present "Oh that's wonderful darling, did you make it?" I asked.  "No, I chose it from a catalogue and gave Granny the money to buy it" she answered.  "Where did you get the money from?" I enquired .... "I got it from Grandad" she said!  :^O!!!  Nice one!

Yes, I am a teacher, and no, it's not school holidays yet.

I had a day off as I had a day of TIL owing as a did a weekend PD earlier in the year for work 🙂

It's always nice to take days off on your birthday!

Happy Birthday - and as for being 31 - just do what I did. When I turned 30 I started going backwards......by the time you are 33 you will be the age your boyfriend expects you to be. LOL............

Apparently it was a TV prop of Bert Newton (in a very bad wig).   For $285 it could stay there.  But my grandmother is a HUGE Bert & Patty fan, so I had to take a photo for her.
