The virus moves because people move it.
If people stop moving the virus dies.
That's all there is to it.
Which is why we are at the stage we are now because people refuse to stop moving, ships were passengers
allowed in and further cases would come from flights coming in and they have to self isolate but need to get
home first and get supplies so will be active before they can isolate.

Maybe they're still cross checking with gov't departments re pension numbers etc. Dunno.
I've been registered with Woolies for many years now as a Senior, so maybe that helped.

is inertia really pertinent or can it be disregarded ?

Given the numbers - I don't think they would necessarily advise - simply add you to their priority list.
I'd try doing an order - they have your details.

Human coronaviruses are spread from someone infected with COVID-19 virus to other close contacts with that
person through contaminated droplets spread by coughing or sneezing, or by contact with contaminated hands,
surfaces or objects.
The time between when a person is exposed to the virus and when symptoms first appear is typically 5 to 6 days,
although may range from 2 to 14 days. For this reason, people who might have been in contact with a confirmed
case are being asked to self-isolate for 14 days.
Most COVID-19 cases appear to be spread from people who have symptoms. A small number of people may have
been infectious before their symptoms developed.

Dom, you obviously didn't read my post earlier. Post # 37
I've done an order and it went through.

Yes - I understand that.
But it has been discussed having filled out the ' form ' - no word back has been received.
What I am saying is - perhaps they don't contact - but simply put you on priority - given your details on the form.
Go online submit an order - you may be automatically deemed priority.

what word do you not understand ?
"enertia" is one word I don't understand.
oh , inertia , in context , you are wondering whether i know the intended meaning ? in context is meant to convey the reluctance of those in power to change conditions required for an ideal outcome before obvious and significant damaging events.
For example is we observed virus damage of China and the need to close our borders with strict travel restrictions , however due to bureaucratic inertia will did not do that until many of the citizens returning from overseas proved infected and so created a observable local crisis
There ya go again.
Inertia simply means to do nothing. Not waffle on with gobbledegook
is a figure of speech implying mild critizism

Just a minor update : Corvid-19 is the disease - so you suffer from rather than being infected by . SARS-CoV-2 is the virus which infects , so causing the Covid-19 disease.

The link to that article is above so no good telling me so you better let NSW Health know that they are wrong and
you are right and that they and everyone else is using wrong terminology.
You should then let every website that uses the wrong terminoligy know that they are wrong as well and as just
about every website uses Corona virus or Covid-19 in their articles it should keep you busy fro a while.
